This N' That

It's pretty bad when you go to start a blog and then you forget what you are going to say.... Or maybe it is appropriate due to the title of my blog. Yeah, that's it... just trying to be consistent.

Not much going on in life right now... work is busy as usual, but I thought I should take the time out to write a little something. The event we had last week went well, even though we didn't have as many show up due to Rita. It's nice to see that God is helping me out with this job, I don't want to "blame" it on luck. I'm a little nervous because we are looking at hiring another full time person and I'm afraid my boss will wake up and realize how I'm not qualified. But so far, so good. :)

For the update on Grandma, she got the ok yesterday to start taking that experimental drug again. Unfortunately, her mind isn't too clear (forgetting how to work things or if she took meds) and she's still really weak/tired all the time. (Nicole, if you come up with any exercises for her to do, let me know.) Since she's a little confused at times, she's going tonight to stay with my parents for awhile. So be praying for her and my family as we go through this.

I think Bosses' day is coming up in the next few weeks. What do you get your boss? All I got my old boss was a card b/c I didn't really like him... but I want to do something more for my boss.

Well, have a great week. I'll try to post again. Don't forget LOST on Wednesday and the season premiere of ALIAS on Thursday (7PM Central). It's going to be an awesome show, I can't wait! Yes, I am a little lame when it comes to my excitement over ALIAS! :)

Oh, and I highly recommend "Just Like Heaven"... my roomie and I went to the movies and saw it on our fun day that we had on Saturday. It's an excellent movie!

*baby find* Nicole, you might want to check with your mom, but we saw a "Mascot Mobile" of little "Raider Red"s and it plays the fight song! I'm not sure if your mom is going to have baby stuff or if she was going to use the "tech room" but you might want to tell her about it. It was way cute.
