Life is crazy...

Work is so crazy busy right now. I thought there were only 3 events to plan for and now it has turned into about 5. I thought I was doing really good with 2 of them and was proud since I've done it all myself, but all I got questioned on were the other 3, 2 of those I didn't know about until yesterday. All the facts would be good! Still up in the air about the whole new position. I'm just praying that no matter what, at least one thing I am considering works out for me either way.

Our singles group is going through some changes too, so it is all a little stressful. But hey, I know it will work out and no matter what, it means that I'll get to meet with at least two people a week. I need that interaction in my life.

I'm looking forward to tonight. Alias is back on for a 2 hour finale and I have to say that I just want a little bit of normalcy from last year. I'm looking forward to it! So if you call from 7-9PM, I won't answer. :p

Trying new things...

So I decided to step out of my comfort zone in my eating habits. Sure, I still eat mostly junk, I'm sure. And I rely on Dr. Peppers way too much, but I am taking steps at adding new foods to my palate. Right now, it is to the point where I can eat things without making a face.

A "plus" with my current job, it makes me eat things that I probably normally wouldn't. For example, I've probably had asparagus 5 times in the last month, mainly in the last two weeks thanks to a few "work" events and eating once at Lucilynn's. By the fifth time, I just laugh when I see it and eat it. No big deal... definitely something I wouldn't request though.

Today's "out of my comfort zone" choice was the spinach stromboli at Double dave's. I had a little section of it... and while I definitely wouldn't call it good, I ate it. I can't see eating more than one though...

Next on the list of changes, drinking a little more water (oh wait, drinking water period) and playing my dance game more often. I've found that it is definitely a ton easier playing it when no one else is at home, which isn't often.

I hope y'all are having a happy Monday! *green in honor of asparagus and spinach.

I need a personal shopper!

That's on my wish list for this year. I just wish that I had someone that I could say "I want something cute, or I want this." and they could go get it and it actually fit!

It's time for my trip to Marco in June and I need to find some cute clothes for that. I was thinking a peasant skirt for the dinner thing this year, maybe with one of those rhinestone belts. I tried on a white one at Old Navy that had the rhinestones at the top, but we thought a belt would be more practical AND make the skirt easier to clean. So what top do you wear with a pheasant skirt and what color? white tank top with a white skirt? Or is another color skirt better? Like brown?

Jana, are you making any trips to L-town anytime soon? You always have cute outfits that don't cost a ton of money... I need fashion help!
